Sufficient drinking of milk not only helps you have healthy bones and teeth but also prevents the development of periodontal problems.

A study has shown that women who consume too much calcium have less risk of periodontal disease (tooth decay).

Women who consumed 800 grams of calcium every day have had healthier teeth, while women who had consumed less than 500 grams of magnesium had 54 percent greater risk of developing these problems.

Other research has also shown that regular milk consumption protects against caries.
